The Ark Preschool

The Ark Christian Preschool is committed to providing a safe, loving, and Christian environment that will encourage every child to reach his/her full potential. We will provide a quality education that will be the foundation of every child’s future success.

Owned and operated by NWUMC, The Ark is for the benefit of families and children in the community. It is a nonprofit, nondiscriminatory, and self-supporting preschool. As a Christian preschool, we believe in excellence, AND an education in the truth of the Scriptures. All students receive attentive training and attend chapel meeting times and have prayer thoughout the day to learn about God’s love, and begin to experience a relationship with their creator.

All supplies are furnished by The Ark.

The preschool opens the Tuesday after Labor Day. The rest of the school year follows the Wawassee Corporation’s schedule.

Classes are offered for 3 year old students from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Thursday and Friday mornings, and 4 year old students from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Mondays, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. We have a few available openings for both classes in addition to a waiting list for a Pre-K p.m. class.
